IHSS/Public Authority Registry

To join the Imperial County Public Authority Registry, a potential Provider must successfully complete the following steps:

1. Contact the Registry
   Call the Imperial County Public Authority Registry at (760) 337-7722 to check eligibility requirements and request a Registry Provider Application.

2. Complete the Registry Provider Application (available as noted above).

3. Provide References
   Submit four (4) valid references, including:

   • Two (2) non-relative personal references

   • Two (2) employer references
     All references must be verified and in good standing.

4. Submit Identification
   Provide a current government-issued photo identification.

5. Fingerprinting & Background Check
   Submit fingerprints and successfully pass a criminal background check conducted by the California Department of Justice (DOJ).

6. Attend a Registry Workshop
   Participate in a Public Authority Registry Workshop.

7. Complete IHSS Enrollment
   Finalize the process by completing the IHSS Enrollment steps as required by the program.
