UPDATE: Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have made the following changes to our operations in order to protect the health and safety of you, our staff and our community.

IHSS Providers: If you are a current IHSS Provider in Imperial County and have questions regarding payroll, provider enrollment, or sick time, please contact Imperial County In-Home Supportive Services at 760-337-3084.

IHSS Recipients/Consumers: If you have a loss of a provider due COVID-19 related reasons, please contact your IHSS Social Worker. As an IHSS recipient, you may qualify for a short-term emergency backup provider to be dispatched based on your available authorized IHSS hours.

Back-Up Providers are not a replacement for emergency medical assistance. Therefore, please call 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency.

Essential Protective Gear (EPG) for IHSS Providers and IHSS Recipients during COVID-19

Starting June 1st, 2020, a limited number of EPG (i.e., gloves) are available for IHSS providers and IHSS recipients who request it and meet the following criteria:

Are an active and eligible IHSS provider or IHSS recipient in Imperial County
Are willing to pick up the EPG at the 2999 S. 4th Street in El Centro, CA 92243, by appointment only. If unable to pick up the EPG in person, call the Public Authority to make other arrangements

IHSS providers and IHSS recipients may request EPG by calling the Public Authority at (760) 335-3733 or (760) 335-3021
